| | ABOUT CHRIS | | Chris Nye is ideally suited to help you achieve your real estate goals because he understands the intricacies of the industry as well as the rewards of home ownership.
Chris brings a well-rounded business background to his real estate career. He began in real estate in 1979 before entering the insurance industry first as an agent, and then as partner of his own insurance brokerage. A subsequent change in direction took Chris to becoming an Assistant Golf Professional, qualified by the Canadian Professional Golf Association. He returned to insurance as General Manager with a large corporate brokerage. Not long after, Chris again heeded the call of real estate and re-established himself as a successful residential Specialist in 2001.
Understanding people from their perspective and having an awareness of others needs comes naturally to Chris. Loyal clients admire his integrity, professionalism and diligence in getting the job done. As a homeowner himself having been through the process, Chris understands the decisions and timing involved to ensure a successful outcome. By making extensive use of the latest industry tools available, Chris effectively complements the hands-on service for which he is known.
Chris resides in Mississauga with his wife, Gail and stepdaughters Kortni and Megan. When he’s not hard a work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, entertaining friends, playing a round of golf, going fishing and even finds time to relax by cutting his lawn (honest!).
